Virginia Beach - Private & Boarding Suffolk – Private & Boarding VaBch Distraction Class Suffolk Distraction Class Virginia Beach 2011 Training Schedule Serving Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake Private Lessons: Private Lessons are all day Tuesday from 9am to 8pm and on some Thursdays 3pm to 9pm. Once a month, a Saturday morning lesson can be scheduled. These programs usually begin at Nicely Trained Canine’s Training Room off Independence Blvd at Town Center and then finish at Mt Trashmore or Bayville Farms Park for distraction proofing. You can substitute a park lesson for a lesson in your home. Inboard Training Program: The 12-14 day inboard program is available February 2011 through December 2011 Special programs can be arranged on request; for example a crate training program which generally takes 3 to 5 days, at $50 each day. Distraction Proofing & Problem Solving Group Class Schedule 2011 You must have completed one the On-leash, Off-leash, Private or In-board Obedience Programs to participate in these classes. This is a free class but you must register the dates you plan to come. There is a ten dog limit to each class date. A word of caution – not all dogs in these classes are social (friendly), so ask the owner or the trainer before you greet any dog or allow your dog to greet any dog. Trashmore in Virginia Beach May -- Saturday, 7^th from 9-10 am at Bayville Farms Park off Shore Drive, by the baseball diamond & AKC Canine Good Citizen Test June – Saturday, 4^th from 9am-10am at Mt Trashmore             Saturday, 4th from 11am-1pm Canine Massage Class, $35 per person, no dogs July – Saturday, 9^th from 9am-10am at Bayville Farms Park August -- Saturday, 6^th from 9-10 am at Mt. Trashmore in Virginia Beach September -- Saturday, 10^th from 9-10 am at Bayville Farms Park, by the baseball diamond October -- Saturday, 1^st from 9am to 10 at Mt. Trashmore in Virginia Beach & AKC CGC Test November -- Saturday, 12^th from 9-10 am at Bayville Farms Park, by the baseball diamond December -- Saturday, 3^rd from 9-10 am at Mt. Trashmore in Virginia Beach The AKC Canine Good Citizen Test cost is $25.00, and you must register beforehand.  The test times are scheduled every 15 minutes.  You need to come a little early to fill out paperwork, settle yourself and your dog, and any last minute prep.  You will need to bring a dog brush, a 6 ft. leash, and a buckle or martingale collar for the test.  All the other materials will be provided. . Suffolk Training 2011 Training Schedule Suffolk Location – serving Suffolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Isle of Wight Co & Smithfield and Southampton Co & Franklin. Onycha does not take severe behavioral cases covering aggression. Private: The private lessons are on Tuesday 5pm to 9pm and Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm. These programs can be held at Nicely Trained Canines’s training room in Zuni, VA, Bennet’s Creek Park in Northern Suffolk, the park off Main St in Suffolk or the dog park in Smithfield or Chesapeake Square. Lessons can also be done in the client’s home. Boarding The 12-14 day training program is available from January through December of 2011. Because of living in the country on several acres, Onycha is able to handle more boarding dogs than Linnea. Because of this, Onycha runs a lot of the inboard training programs and general boarding for Nicely Trained Canines. Special programs can be arranged on request; for example a crate training program which generally takes 3 to 5 days, at $50 each day. Nicely Trained Canines offers boarding in the trainer's home to client's dogs for $30 a day. Extended boarding offered to deploying military personnel at a reduced boarding charge of $20 a day. General manners, like no pulling on leash or jumping, are taught at no extra charge.
